Supermarkets around Eastwood are having special hours for the elderly and vulnerable as well as our brilliant NHS staff and carers. Current government advice means that people should be shopping as infrequently as possible.

First Bus will be running a reduced timetable commencing on 29th March 2020, operating a broadly Sunday timetable. You should only travel if absolutely necessary as a key worker or if you are assisting a vulnerable individual.
There are some timetable changes that will impact Eastwood:
4/4A: no change (link)
6/6A: every 15 minutes in the morning (5 minutes later), every 30 minutes in the evening (no change) (link)
X78: suspended in the morning, no service in the evening
All night buses are suspended and will not operate.
All services not lister will operate in line with normal timetable.

East Renfrewshire Council have changed the regular bin collections for the coming weeks in order to focus their resources.
Blue bins will not be collected for the foreseeable future. Paper and card can be placed in grey bins.
Greenhags Recycling centre is closed until further notice.
Here is how the updated weekly collection cycle will work for May:
- W/C Mon 4 May - green (plastic, cans and bottles) and brown (garden and food) bin collections on your normal collection day.
- W/C Mon 11 May - grey (non-recyclable) bin collection on your normal collection day.
- W/C Mon 18 May - grey (non-recyclable) bin collection on your normal collection day.
- W/C Mon 25 May - green (plastic, cans and bottles) and brown (garden and food) bin collections on your normal collection day.
The teams will be out collecting bins on the May bank holidays (8 and 25 May).
Blue bin collections will not be reinstated at this stage.
